In Carnia you can ski on some of the largest and well equipped areas, such as Zoncolan and Varmost, as well as smaller areas immersed in the silence of snowy forests like Sauris, Prato Carnico and Paluzza.
In particular, Zoncolan, located in the area of Ravascletto-Sutrio, is one of the best equipped  of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region thanks to a modern ski lift system, ski school, runs with differing levels of difficulty and expert ski instructors.
Cross country enthusiasts will find  The Suart ring at their disposition with a length of 2.5 km and 1.300 meters of gradient, and for those who love freestyle a new dedicated zone with an area for boardercross and ski cross and a part reserved exclusively for aerial skiing.
